According to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the planet previously orbited on March 13, 2011. At that time, it covered 4,268,643 km from Earth. This time the planet will orbit just 45,000 miles from Earth. It was first discovered in 2011. Every nine years, it gets closer to Earth.

The planet is named 2001 ES4 by NASA. NASA tweeted that the planet would not touch the earth. There is no danger to the earth.
